Two Headed Ghoul 01
(work-in-progress)

The Ghoulster was quite the challenge. I wasn't sure which way to go with him. I had original planed to do two separate heads on separate necks. Even after I had made the decision to go with the three-eyed / split-head design, I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with his mouth. It finally all came together when I hit upon the idea of one big jaw. If we ever do hear him speak, (only Jacko and Old Nick speak in the poem) he would have a deep echoy voice like two pipes in an organ.

I'm still not sure if the upper portion of his head is scary enough, not sure what I could do that wouldn't take away from what I've already got. I had thought of making him more reptilian, covering him with scales but I didn't like any of the tests I made. I might explore that some more on the second pass.

I have begun work on the body for this character, you can follow the progress on the Two Heaaded Ghoul 02 page.
