Projecting Light 01

This is a proof-of-concept shot. It represents part to in a great idea I got last night. Part one was to use Jacko's Jack-a-lantern head, like a flashlight. You know, showing the beams cutting threw the fog. My original idea had an old man as the gatekeeper and the movie was going to start with his flashlight beam. I decided to bring back the idea but to use Jacko himself as the light. Then I got Idea part two. Jacko would look across one of the crypts and we would see the projection of his eyes and mouth. ( I think this is going to turn out pretty cool). And that's when part three jumps into my head. We see Jacko speak via his projection.

After poring over the script, I think I've found a really good place to use this.

Like I said, this is only a first test. I will add a beam of light, with some fog in it, and work out the best angle before the shot is finalized. I like the idea of doing a quick pan over to Jacko, where we see him reciting his next lines close up.
